BREAKING: KWAITO Star Mshoza Loses Baby In Car Accident

KWAITO star, Mshoza, real name Nomasonto Masangwanyi, is devastated after suffering a miscarriage recently, which was the result of a car accident. The singer says she is hurt by the loss as she was looking forward to being a mother again.
Mshoza says she was excited about having a baby with her fiancé, Thuthukani Mvula, however, the accident, which almost claimed her life, took away her bundle of joy and left her with a broken heart.
“I am hurting a lot as I was looking forward to being a mother again. This was going to be mine and Thuthukani’s first child together. I suspect that bad luck is following me,” says Mshoza.
The accident happened in KwaZuluNatal and the car was a complete write off.
“I was lucky to escape the accident, but my unborn baby didn’t make it,” she says.
Although she is devastated by losing her unborn child, Mshoza says she is willing to try again for a baby as she wants to extend her family. “I am willing to try again once I feel better, but only God knows,” she says.
As a victim of abuse, the Abantu Bam hitmaker says she is saddened by the recent spate of rape and killings of women in the country.
“I urge young women to stay away from older men and abusive partners and work hard for their future,” says Mshoza.
“Young women are vulnerable because they believe that older men with money will make their lives better. Once you are trapped in an abusive relationship, you think it is love, but this is not the case. You feel you can’t leave because you are thinking of your security and this is no way to live. Once you see signs of abusive, walk away and never go back. I know this because I have been abused and I used to think that one day I would be killed. I am lucky to have survived, but Karabo Mokoena and others weren’t so lucky,” she says, referring to more than one abusive relationship she has been in.
Mshoza has relocated to Ladysmith, KwaZuluNatal, to be with her fiancé and even has a job at an engineering company, where she works in the human resource and finance department.
“I am now a working woman and I’m enjoying my job. It consoles me after losing my baby. But I still do music on weekends,” she says.
