A pupil in Kimberley was stabbed to death—all for his matric dance Carvela shoes.
According to Independent Online, the learner, Boniface Ndlovu was stabbed and killed on Sunday (10 March) when he was walking back home in the early hours.
Boniface, allegedly from Emmanuel Secondary School, was with his friends when they were reportedly approached by a 10 armed men.
The group of friends reportedly fled the thugs, but Boniface was not so fortunate.
He was stabbed multiple times, and the thugs confiscated his Carvella shoes.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Majang Skalkie is quoted as pleading with the community for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
“Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant Steven Wax on 082 469 1728 if they have information relating to the incident,” Skalkie said.
